Meet the people that run Oonair. A committed team that is focused on serving the needs of industry and helping companies to achieve their goals using the latest in mobile platforms and technologies combined with cloud services.

Rafael Terradas – Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder

A serial entrepreneur since the mid-1990s, has founded and led engineering, distribution and audiovisual technology companies. Co-founder in 2004 of Visual Engineering, a mobile technology solutions company focused on the enterprise market in Spain, Mr. Terradas will moved to Oonair as full-time CEO. Mr. Terradas holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Ivan Zaguirre –Chief Technology Officer, co-founder

Ivan Zaguirre, co-founder and CTO, is responsible for all the technical, strategic and product direction of the Oonair platform. Ivan has been responsible for the formation of the technical team and the R&D direction. He is a "business orientated" CTO and has assisted enormously in liaising with clients' and operators' technical teams. Prior to Oonair, Ivan was acting as CTO at Visual Engineering since inception in 2004. Ivan worked also in France at SONY R&D computer division which he joined after graduating with a MS in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona.

Helia Calderé – Chief Financial Officer

Helia Calderé is currently the Chief Financial Officer in Oonair. Helia, with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona and a BBA from the Institute Superieur de Gestion (Paris) and the Manhattan Insitute of Management (New York City). Prior to joining Oonair, Helia was the CFO at Visual Engineering during 5 years. Between 1998 and 2003 she was senior auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (Spain) and became account manager at Kostal Electrica (German Kostal Group) from 2003 to 2007 prior to joining Visual Engineering.

Gregorio Oterino

Mr Oterino performs an executive role in the coverage and management of the Spain and LATAM market at Oonair.

Mr Oterino is currently CSO at Visual Engineering after 9 years in executive positions at Telefónica Móviles where he was Country Manager of Terra Mobile Spain, Sales Director to Multinationals – Blackberry and Director of Mobility Solutions. Prior to this, Mr Oterino worked for 17 years at Hewlett-Packard Spain where he covered the Telefonica account as Global Account manager and was Director of Projects for SAP R/3. He hols a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and BA in Business Management by Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Mr Oterino performs an executive role in the coverage and management of the Spain and European market at Oonair.

Javier Foncillas

Mr Foncillas is a veteran of 15 years in the mobile industry. He has occupied leadership positions at Vodafone where he was Global Consumer Products Director and Enterprise Marketing Director among other roles. Prior to Vodafone, he was involved in mobile industry startups Airtel, Navegalia and Vizzavi. He holds an BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Ramón Betolaza

Ramon Betolaza is a private Investor specialised in distressed and special situations. Mr Betolaza was a Partner at MatlinPatterson Global Advisors since its inception in July 2002 through December 2009 when he retired from MatlinPatterson, which is a global private equity firm investing in distressed and special situations with capital commitments of over $9.0 billion. Mr. Betolaza has over fourteen years of experience in investing in distressed and special situations and has engaged in transactions in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Prior to July 2002, Mr. Betolaza was a Director at Credit Suisse in the Distressed Securities Group which he joined in 1997 in London. Before joining CS, Mr. Betolaza was an analyst in the Special Situations proprietary investment team at Banco Santander in London. Mr Betolaza serves on the board of Pagaralia SA (Spain) and Teeside Gas Processing - TGPP Ltd (UK) on behalf of MatlinPatterson and previously served on the boards of Polymer Group, Inc., Northern Star Natural Gas Inc., Cerruti SA (FR) ad of NRG Energy, Inc. and KGen Power Inc.

Mr Betolaza holds a Degree in Economics and Financial Management from Universidad Comercial de Deusto and earned his MBA, summa cum laude, class of 95, from Instituto de Empresa - IE Business School, where he serves on its International Advisory Board.
